2010-11 Ashes fixtures announced, the series to start in November

Australia's cricketers will begin their bid to win back the Ashes in Brisbane on November 25 next year.

Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced the fixtures for the 2010-11 Test series between the old foes.

Tests in Adelaide (December 3-7) and Perth (December 16-20) will follow the opening match at The Gabba, with Melbourne's traditional Boxing Day fixture (December 26-30) and Sydney's New Year Test (January 3-7) completing the schedule.

Cricket Australia chief executive James Sutherland said he was looking forward to another thrilling contest between cricket's biggest rivals.
